A meeting: International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement.

In Cairo, on February 19, 2009, there was a meeting of ICMEC and SMWIPM, and a conference under the name of „Cross Borders to Protect the Children of the World”. The most important topics were: children’s safety in the Internet, law on family relations, global problem of children’s pornography and child sexual abuse, especially issues concerning children’s pornography in the Internet.

Mrs Jolanta Kwaśniewska, the President of the Foundation, took part in the meeting on behalf of both SMWIPM and ICMEC.


Annual meeting of SMWIPM Board of Directors

Mrs Jolanta Kwaśniewska, who is a Board Member of Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement, participated in the annual meeting of the Board on May 25, 2008 in Cairo (Egypt) in Air Force House.
First of all, the issues of International Youth Forum, which took place in September 2007 and End Human Trafficking campaign (Pol. Zakończyć Handel Ludźmi) were discussed.

The International Youth Forum (Pol. Międzynarodowe Forum Młodzieży)
The International Youth Forum was held in Sharm El Sheikh on 1-3 September 2007. Young people in the age of 18-25 were the participants of the forum- more than 1200 people from over 100 countries. The main matters mentioned during the meeting concern the meaning of young people as the world peace ambassadors, usage of the Internet and Cyberspace for tolerance and peace promotion, and the role of media.

Mrs Jolanta Kwaśniewska becomes a Member of SMWIPM Board of Directors
Mrs Jolanta Kwaśniewska became a member of Suzanne Mubarak Women's International Peace Movement Board of Directors on June 16, 2007. Afterwards, she participated in the annual meeting of the Board of Directors in Cairo, Egypt, in Air Force House. The meeting was dedicated, among other things, to International Youth Forum (Pol. Międzynarodowe Forum Młodzieży) which will be organized in September, and issues of abatement with the trafficking of children and women.
