Vital Voices Global Partnership is a large non-governmental organization with headquarters in the United States, which was founded in 1997 from the initiative of Mrs. Hilary Rodham Clinton, then First Lady, and Mrs. Madeleine Albright, a former Secretary of State. Vital Voices operates with a global reach, and its main purpose is to identify, educate and strengthen the capacity of women – women leaders, and women – social entrepreneurs. VV offers women the chance to be the leaders of changes in their own countries, making efforts to promote social justice and democracy. In addition, it arms women with knowledge of management, business, marketing and communication skills to enable them to create and develop their own businesses and organizations, and thus provide the survival for their families and create new workplaces. Vital Voices is extremely active in the fight against human trafficking and other forms of violence against women and girls.

Since 1997 Vital Voices has trained more than 7,000 women – more than 127 women leaders from Asia, Africa, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East. These women had returned to their countries, where conducted training for more than 200,000 other women. Foundation "Communication without barriers" has been cooperating with Vital Voices for a couple of years now, and the President of the Foundation, Jolanta Kwasniewska, actively supports their actions.
