In 2002, under „They must live” (Pol. "One muszą żyć") programme, the Foundation has set for itself an extremely difficult task. Indeed, it decided to build an absolutely new, free-standing Clinic of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the Medical Academy in Gdansk in the place of yet functioning, narrow and not very child-friendly department of pediatric oncology. Dozens of letters sent to the potential sponsors bore fruit in the first declarations of financial support. Already, on June 1, 2003, in the Children’s Day, the foundation act was signed and the corner stone of the new Clinic was mortared. In commemorative book, which is also a calendar of the Clinic creation, Mrs Jolanta Kwaśniewska has written down: “With hope for a meeting on December 6, 2004”. This date was chosen as disposal day of the present for ill children on the occasion of St Nicolas Day in form of a modern, “butterfly”, three-floor building, with its planned surface measuring over than 1800m2, which approximate cost should come to 4 000 000 PLN.

June 3, 2005 was one of the most important days in the 10-year history of the Foundation „Communication without Barriers”. This day, a new building was put into service, which became the headquarters of the Department of Hematology and Pediatric Oncology of Pediatric, Hematology, Oncology and Endocrinology Clinic of Pediatric Institute of Medical Academy in Gdansk. The new clinic has changed current, very bad conditions of treating children with cancer.

In total, Foundation gave 4.669.245, 00 PLN to build the Clinic, in 2005 there was given 514.625,00 PLN.
